Returning Volunteers-

Welcome to the 2009 Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by MasterCard! This prestigious PGA TOUR event at the Bay Hill Club & Lodge will be held March 23-29, 2009. Mr. Palmer, the tournament staff, Executive Board, The Bay Hill Club & Lodge and the Arnold Palmer Medical Center Foundation sincerely appreciate your commitment as a volunteer.

 

Online registration has been a huge success so we will continue this process through our website. Due to the many survey results saying you liked the 2 shirt volunteer package, we have decided to go back to that and I think you will be very pleased.

 

Volunteers will be required to purchase uniform package at time of registration.

The Volunteer Uniform Package includes:

· 2 Ashworth Drytec Polo’s

· 1 tournament cap (men) or visor (ladies)

· 2 weekly grounds badges (for guests)

· volunteer name badge

· invite to Volunteer Appreciation Party (New)

· volunteer pin

· volunteer handbook

· breakfast and/or lunch for days worked

· Bay Hill food & beverage/golf vouchers (earned for hours worked)

Your cost for the volunteer package is $85, but the total value of this package is over $300.

 

*New for 2009* Ashworth has been selected for the official volunteer uniforms. In an effort to save you time and gas, uniforms will be shipped to you directly from Ashworth via Fed Ex. When filling out the registration form please be sure your shipping address is correct (No PO boxes). The deadline for online volunteer registration is January 25, 2009 in order for your uniform package to be drop shipped. If you register after January 25, 2009 you must pick up your package at the wardrobe trailer. Optional items will be available for purchase at the wardrobe trailer (dates and times TBA). If you are unable to register on line, you will need to request a hard copy of the waiver from your Committee Chairman.
